I am with you, says the Lord

Do you feel confusion rising up?
Are you facing a circumstance that in no way could be God ordained?

Why would God allow such confusing circumstances?
How could this be God's will for my life?

These are common questions that can penetrate our lives to our very core.

When I knew the Lord was calling us to Washington from Utah, I was utterly confused. The circumstances for the move didn't make sense to me and I could not see God's hand in any of it. It was far too complex.

As I struggled, resisted and let resentment get the best of me the confusion only continued to grow.

It was only when I surrendered the entire situation to the Lord and allowed Him to have control of the circumstances and outcomes that clarity started to form. The foggy glasses were removed from my weary eyes and I began to see what the Lord was orchestrating.

Something beautiful, something I could never have even dreamed of.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9

If you are in a place of confusion and complexities that you can't wrap your head around. Remember this verse. Read about Moses and Joshua in the desert and remind yourself of God's never ending love and faithfulness.
